DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 29: A man, Zafar Shah, killed his mother over a dispute on her third marriage in the Rangpur village, sources said on Tuesday.
The woman was identified as Shamshad, wife of Chaman Shah. The alleged killer, Zafar Shah, absconded after the murder.
The sources said Shamshad was planning to contract a third marriage with one Hashim, which infuriated her son Zafar Shah. Zafar was born to Shamshad from her first marriage with Chaman Shah.
The Paharpur police have registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
GIRL KIDNAPPED: A young girl was kidnapped at gunpoint by three people in Panyala here on Monday.
Abdul Manan, the girl’s father, has lodged a report with the Panyala police.
He nominated Saeedullah, son of Yasin, and Boroka Katli and Kausar, sons of Faizullah, in the case.
The police have started search for the culprits.
