KARACHI, Jan 28: Construction work on a new building for the Karachi University Business School will begin soon, the Vice-Chancellor, University of Karachi, Dr Zafar Saied Saify, said.

Speaking at the launch of the school’s magazine — Vista — he said that in a shorter span, the school had come up with an impressive performance.

In a message read out on the occasion, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad also appreciated the efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff for delivering a high quality educational experience to the increasing number of students. The governor said that research, together with teaching and learning, is the touchstone of an academic community and it is a great testimony to the innovative skills and energy of the administration that they have accomplished so much despite financial pressure.

He also praised the students’ devotion and team work in bringing out the first issue of the magazine.—APP
