JAMMU, Nov 25: Four policemen were killed and three seriously injured on Sunday when a suicide squad of suspected guerillas attacked a police post in Kashmir, a defence spokesman said

Army Brigadier P.C. Das said the attack was carried out at a police post at Banihal, 180 kms north of Jammu.

The policemen were asleep when the guerillas opened fire with rifle grenades and then sprayed the position with gunfire. The area has been cordoned off to hunt down the assailants, he said.—AFP
