Published January 28, 2003

KARACHI, Jan 27: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is planning to establish its own university where subjects in emerging sciences such as management and commerce will be offered.

The efficacy and feasibility to start postgraduate classes initially as “decentralized multi campus concept” is being studied, DHA administrator Brig Asif Ghazali said at the annual prize distribution ceremony of the DHA Model High School on Monday.

He said that the DHA’s educational institutions strived to provide stimulating academic environment for inculcating discipline, punctuality and character traits in students.

Earlier, school principal Mrs Muteur Rehman presented the annual report delineating the achievements of the institution. Prizes were distributed among the position holders.—PPI
