HYDERABAD, Jan 25: The controller of examinations (semester), University of Sindh, on Friday announced the top positions in various faculties of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

In the faculty of Education, Miss Shazia, daughter of Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, B.Ed evening, and Miss Sumera Latif, daughter of Abdul Latif Arain, M.Ed morning programme, secured top positions for the year 1999.

In the faculty of Islamic Studies, Miss Kausar, daughter of Aas Mohammad Ansari, MA (Hons) Islamic Culture, and Mr Sari, son of Mohammad Saleh Al-Doors, MA (Pass) Islamic Culture 1999, and Miss Wajida, daughter of Mohammad Sharif Patoli MA (Hons), Muslim History, secured top positions for the year 2000.

CONVOCATION: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, announced on Thursday for the information of all students who had applied for awarding of degrees, gold medals and silver medals in the convocation that they should provide the names of one of their parents (father or mother) including a copy of their National Identity Card upto Jan 25 for issuance of invitation cards.

All candidates have been further advised to participate in a rehearsal of the convocation to be held on Jan 29 at 9:30am at the Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah Girls Gymnasium, Allama I. I. Qazi campus, Jamshoro.

The convocation of the University of Sindh is scheduled to be held on Jan 30 at the Allama I. I. Qazi campus, Jamshoro.

LLB: The controller of examinations (annual), University of Sindh, notified on Friday that the last date for submitting examination forms for LLB Part I (fresh and failure candidates) for annual examination 2002 and LLB Part II and III (fresh and failure candidates) for the annual examination of 2001 has been extended without late fee upto Jan 30.

SAU: The Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, announced on Saturday that the pre-entry test for admissions in B.Sc. (Information Technology) would be held on Feb 4 at 10am at the university campus. The students have been advised to obtain their admit cards from the deputy registrar’s office on Feb 3 after depositing a fee of Rs300.

RESULT: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, has announced the results of the diploma in education, third semester (final year) annual examinations 2001-2002 held in September 2002.
