PESHAWAR, Jan 24: Eunuchs have become the latest victim of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal government’s campaign against ‘obscenity’, with police raiding their places in the popular Dabgari area and asking them to confine their activities to their workplaces.
On Wednesday evening, the police issued warnings to the eunuchs to stop displaying musical instruments outside their houses and business premises.
Eunuchs say that police raided their workplaces two days ago in Dabgari and booked 10 of them under Section 107 of PPC and presented them before a local court.
The latest police action is part of the string of measures introduced by the provincial government.
