LAHORE, Jan 23: A seven-point agenda has been finalized for the all-party conference to be held here on Jan 30.

ARD President Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, who arrived here on Thursday from Khangarh to make arrangements, told newsmen that the Legal Framework Order would be on the top of the agenda.

The LFO protects all steps taken and policies pursued by Gen Musharraf during his three-year rule, and gives wide-ranging powers to the president.

Suspension of the anti-defection laws till the Senate elections and the alleged tactics being used by the government agencies to make legislators change loyalties is another item on the agenda.

The ARD chief said derogatory treatment being meted out to Pakistanis in the US would also come under discussion.

The participants would also exchange views on the US plan to attack Iraq.

Rigging in byelections, FBI raids and arrest of some respectable citizens, skyrocketing prices, ever growing unemployment and deteriorating law and order situation would also be discussed.

The ARD president contacted some leaders to extend them invitation.
