KARACHI, Jan 23: Provincial Election Commission on Thursday scrutinized nomination papers of the candidates of Senate’s women seats from Sindh and accepted those of Begum Salma Ahmed of PML-F and Bibi Yasmin Shah and Syeda Zahida Zaidi of PML-Q.

Nomination papers of Mrs Tanveer Khalid were rejected because she failed to produce the required party affiliation certificate.

Scrutiny of nomination papers of those contesting general seats will be held on Jan 24.—PPI
