Quota system has already been ruled as un-Islamic and illegal by the Nations top Shariah court. Even if we keep religion aside, the whole basis of Quota system is flawed and was implemented to please a few classes in particular while taking away open merit from the deserving population of the country. The educated people have to work extra hard and then leave it to fate to get any reasonable government or semi govt job in Pakistan. Remember that as long as illiterate or undeserving people keep taking seats due to quota system, they will never be able to improve the efficiency and running of the institution as they will not be capable of working in the same capacity as someone who has merit to do tat. If we employ on open merit basis then under-served and backward area people will automatically start getting employment as the better people running these institutions will improve its affairs and generate more employment rather than the one who came in through the un justified and pathetic quota system. All the people who are currently sitting on govt jobs due to quota system should be ashamed of themselves and hide their faces as they have taken away a meritorious persons seat for the rest of his or her life!

First, the selection process should be made transparent. Then merit alone must be used to gauge a candidate's qualification. Lastly the age limit must be replaced with physical fitness. Quota system has ruined Pakistan.

Minorities and women must be given due representation in all walks of life in Pakistan. They are already pushed against the wall.

If the era of minorities quota and couple of another quota is unjustifiable then it is also unjustifiable in our parliament i-e: the seats of P.M and President will also be on open merit without considering the sense of minorities, if u agree then mark it and if u disagree then give justification??

Yes, I agree that army quota should be abolished from CSS exams.

The point I am trying to drive home here is that quota 'anywhere' negates the true sense of competitiveness.This exam itself is a benchmark to test the caliber.Army quota must be outlawed.As for the women ,they are already excelling and proving their mettle in all walks of life.
