Asif released on parole

RAWALPINDI, Jan 21: Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan People’s Party’s former senator flew into Karachi on Tuesday night after he was released on parole so that he could attend his mother-in-law’s funeral, official source said.

He added, Asifa Zardari who arrived here from Dubai on early Tuesday morning was also accompanying her father Asif Ali Zardari when they boarded on PK-309 amid high security alert on Tuesday night.—Staff Reporter
