LARKANA: Shirin Begum’s soyem held

LARKANA, Jan 21: The soyem of Shirin Amir Begum, the widow of the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, was held in Naudero on Tuesday.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, PPP-SB chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto, Aftab Shahban Mirani, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, Syed Khursheed Shah, and MNAs and MPAs of the People’ Party Parliamentarians were among hundreds of people who attended the soyem.

The Quran Khawani was held on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Ghinwa, along with her party activists, went to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and placed floral wreath on the grave of Shirin Begum.

GHINWA BHUTTO: Pakistan People’s Party-SB chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto has said their is no family dispute between her and Benazir Bhutto, saying they have only political differences.

BAIL GRANTED: Ghulam Akbar Junejo, the chieftain of the Junejo tribe, who was arrested on charges of abatement in the murder case of FIA inspector Hussain Ali Sargani, was granted bail in a sum of Rs250,000 by the sessions court on Tuesday. Abdul Razzak Soomro, Ali Nawaz Ghanghro and Asif Soomro appeared on behalf of Akbar Junejo.
