Housing scheme

LAHORE, Jan 20: The Lahore Development Authority will start development of the LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme from April and complete it by early 2006.

The computerized ballot for the allotment of plots in the scheme will be held by the end of February. The planning for the scheme spread over an area of 1,800 acres has been started. About 56 per cent of the applicants have applied for the allotment of 10-marla and the remaining 44 per cent for one-kanal plots. —Reporter
