Representative of Nadra booked

HAFIZABAD, Jan 20: A representative of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) misappropriated Rs68,250 fee with 1,950 forms, submitted by the people for getting computerized national identity cards.

The Nadra representative at the district registration office, Malik Abrar Husain, has received 2,300 forms for computerized identity cards. He deposited only 350 forms with Nadra.

On the complaint of the district registrar, the city police have registered a case against Abrar Husain. — Correspondent
