HYDERABAD, Jan 20: The Sindh Water Committee (SWC) has decided to stage a protest rally in Hyderabad on March 22 against usurpation of the River Indus waters, construction of the greater Thal canal and other anti-Sindh projects.

The SWC, at a meeting held here on Sunday, appointed different committees to make the rally a success.

The meeting also decided to publish pamphlets to create awareness among Sindhi people about conspiracies against the province.

Speaking at the meeting, SWC president Rasool Bux Palijo, who presided over the meeting, lashed out at landlords for bargaining interests of the province.

He said the rulers had always used the landlords to usurp resources of Sindh.

According to a SPSC announcement, it found three candidates suitable for the posts of assistant professor, Ophthalmology, and five for that of Anaesthetists, and recommended their names to the government for appointment.
