ZAKA Ashraf, PCB chairman, is requested to reconsider Dav Whatmore’s case as Pakistan cricket coach.

Our cricket team got out in the first innings of the first test match against South Africa on the lowest-ever test score of just 49 runs. In fact, the second of February will be remembered as the Black Day of Pakistan cricket.

If the PCB continues with Whatmore any further, our team’s test status may be revoked by the ICC.

Pakistanis are fully justified in demanding the immediate appointment of Mohsin Hassan Khan, who lately proved to be the most successful coach in the cricketing history of Pakistan, as head coach of the Pakistan cricket team.

Moreover, he should be advised to take over the charge of his job in South Africa, as soon as possible. In case he is not available for any reason whatsoever, either Wasim Bari or Abdul Qadir deserves to be appointed head coach.
