KARACHI, Jan 19: The Pakistan Peoples Party has announced that Quran Khwani and Fateha will be held at Bilawal House on Tuesday at 2pm for Begum Amir Bhutto, first wife of late prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. She breathed her last on Sunday.

PPP leaders Makhdoom Amin Faheem, Mian Raza Rabbani, Aftab Shahban Mirani, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Prof ND Khan, Taj Haider, Sher Muhammad Baloch, Munawwar Suhrawardi, Rashid Rabbani, Khwaja Awan, Sathi Ishaq and others have, in their condolence messages, expressed their sorrow and grief on her demise and prayed that her soul might rest in peace”.

The PPP has demanded immediate release on parole of Asif Ali Zardari, husband of Benazir Bhutto. The Bilawal House spokesman Munawwar Hussain Suhrawardi said that after the murders of all the male members of the Bhutto family and the forced exile of Benazir Bhutto, there was no one family member in Pakistan to receive condolences for Begum Amir Bhutto. Therefore the son-in-law of the Bhutto family must be provided an opportunity to fulfil the obligation.
