QUETTA, Feb 5: The Indian forces are committing atrocities in occupied Kashmir and violating fundamental rights of the Kashmiris.

This was stated by leaders of different religious parties while addressing participants of rallies and demonstrations taken out in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day here on Tuesday.

The rallies were addressed among others by Mufti Mohammad Qasim of Jamaatud Dawa, Balochistan, Maulana Mohammad Ramazan Mengal of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat, Maulana Abdul Qadir Loni of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Ideological and Abdul Qayyum of JI.

They said that anti-Islam forces were involved in hatching conspiracies to damage the Ummah and reiterated their pledge to foil their nefarious designs.

They said that thousands of innocent Kashmiris had been killed by the Indians in held Kashmir and thousands of others were facing continued violence.

According to the United Nations resolutions, India was bound to hold plebiscite in the occupied territory.

They also criticised the present government’s decision to award Most Favoured Nation status to India despite victimisation of people in occupied Kashmir.

They also questioned the role of the UN over its failure to get its resolutions implemented.
