KARACHI, Feb 3: Led by former first-class cricketer Abid Qasmi, a 17-member Qasmi CC squad leaves for Burewala on Monday to compete in the Tajwani Twenty20 Premier League being held at the Quaid-e-Azam Park in Burewala.

Qasmi CC will take on hosts Burewala in their opening Group ‘C’ match on Tuesday.

A total of 12 teams representing different parts of the country are taking part in the event which carries Rs50,000 in prize money. The winners will get Rs20,000 and the runners-up Rs10,000.

Qasmi CC squad: Abid Qasmi (captain), Talha Fahim, Rehan Azam, Javed Kohistani, Mohammad Afzal, Kamran Hussain, Zarnab Hussain, Wasim Ali, Ahsan Qadir, Mohammad Zafar, Shaafat Hussain, Shahid Ayub, Majid Rizvi, Aamir Naqvi, Faizan Chand.
