Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is going places literally and figuratively, and deservingly so. She has won an Oscar award followed by an Emmy for her country. And last week she was presented the Crystal award at the 2013 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. She was honored for her projects promoting human rights and highlighting women’s issues. Sharmeen C responded to the gesture by saying she was humbled by the opportunity to represent her country on such a prestigious platform.
