GUJRANWALA, Jan 18: Four people, including three family members, were killed and 15 others sustained injuries on Saturday in an accident on the Hafizabad Road.

A coaster at high speed was on its way from Gujranwala to Hafizabad. Near Kot Qazi village, it overturned and smashed into a roadside tree. Saiqa Bibi and her sons Junaid, Umair and an unidentified person died instantly while 15 others received injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital where the condition of four of them was stated to be critical.

Police have instituted a case and are investigating.

VISIT: A trade delegation of Singapore visited the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Saturday and discussed bilateral issues and problems of traders of both the countries.

The visitors expressed their satisfaction over trade relations with Pakistan and urged local manufacturers to improve the quality of their products.

They said Pakistani food items were very popular in Singapore and suggested that local exporters should improve the designing and printing of their packing.

They asked Pakistani traders to hold an exhibition of their products in Singapore and offered their cooperation in this regard.

Earlier, chamber president Khawaja Tahir Hassan and other office-bearers welcomed the members of the delegation and put up their proposals for the promotion of trade relations between the two countries.
