QUETTA, Jan 30: Seven bullet-riddled bodies, among them four Bugti tribesmen, were found in parts of Balochistan on Wednesday. Another two people were shot dead in separate incidents.

Three bodies were found in mountains, about 4km away from Quetta near the Eastern Bypass.

“We have retrieved three bodies from the mountainous area to the east of Quetta and shifted them to hospital,” ASP Bashir Ahmed Brohi said, adding hands and feet of the dead were tied with rope.

Hospital sources said the bodies looked at least three days old and the men were shot in their heads.

“Though they have not been identified so far, they appear to be Afghans by their features,” said Mr Brohi, adding a team of senior officers was investigating the incident.

“We will be able to say more about the incident only after the dead are identified,” ASP Sariab Circle said.

The Bugti tribesmen were found murdered in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti.

Local people informed security forces about the bodies dumped in Nok-Tarani area of Pir Koh.

The Levies Force identified the dead as Mazhar Khan Bugti, Naik Mohammad Bugti, Nooruddin Bugti and Sazal Ali Bugti.

Meanwhile, unidentified men shot dead one Abdul Kareem Khilji in Sariab road area of Quetta.

In Khuzdar, armed men on a motorcycle attacked a person near the Agriculture Development Bank and killed him. He was identified as Abdul Qadir Zehri.
