KARACHI, Jan 30: The Sindh Open ranking tennis championship gets into action at DA Creek Club from Feb 4, says an announcement of the Sindh Tennis Association (STA).

Members of the Pakistan Davis Cup team including Aqeel Khan, Yasir Khan, and Abid Mushtaq have confirmed their participation in the event.

The events that will take place include men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors’ under-17 singles, under-15 singles, under-13 singles, under-11 singles, under-9 singles, seniors 45 doubles and seniors’ 55 singles.

The tourney carries a meagre prize money of Rs20,000 which will be disbursed in men’s, ladies and juniors singles.

Last date for submission of entries is Feb 2.
