ISLAMABAD: The government has formed a judicial commission to look into the death of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigating officer Kamran Faisal, DawnNews reported.

The commission will be headed by Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, who has two weeks time to submit its findings.

Four NAB officials including the deputy director will record their testimony for the commission on Monday.

The announcement of setting up a judicial commission comes after a team of six doctors had conducted Faisal’s  autopsy.

The police have disputed Faisal's family's claim that there were marks on his wrists. They are still treating it as a suicide case.

Kamran Faisal’s death came days after the Supreme Court ordered the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and 15 others in connection with a corruption case the officer was investigating.
