QUETTA: Armed men gunned down the principal of a private school, along with his five–year old son, in Kharan area of Balochistan on Friday. Police sources said the principal of the Challenger Academy, Ikram Mengal, was sitting in his office with his son when the gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on them.
Both father and son died on the spot as they received multiple bullet injuries. The attackers managed to flee from the crime scene.
Police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the site and moved the bodies to hospital.
The motive of the attacked could not be ascertained till late in the night.
