Uplift plan for Lakki Marwat approved

LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 24: The distric council of Lakki Marwat on Saturday approved a Rs30 million development plan for 2001-02. Naib Nazim Arifullah Khan Meenakhel was in the chair.

Council members Shahsawar Khan, Abdul Quddus Khan, Akram Khan, Shah Nawaz Khan, Zafrullah Khan, Mohammad Yasin Khan Khattak, Zaibun Nisa and Mehrun Nisa spoke about various aspects of the plan.

Nazim Humayun Saifullah Khan answered queries raised by members during the discussion on the plan. He assured the district councillors that efforts would be made for resolving the problems facing the people.

He urged the councillors to check the quality of work on development schemes being executed in their union councils.
