KGV beat QV

KARACHI, Jan 15: Karachi Greens Veterans (KGV) proved too strong for Quetta Veterans (QV) when they won by 98 runs in the Inter-city Veterans Cup match played on Tuesday.

Batting first KGV amassed 200 for seven in their quota of 25 overs. Sagir Abbas (57), Babar Basharat (44) and Mehmood Rasheed (44) were the major contributors.

QV were restricted to 102 for four wickets in 25 overs.

KGV bt QV by 98 runs.

KGV 200 for seven wickets (Sagir Abbas 57, Babar Basharat 44, Mehmood Rasheed 44; M.Saleem 2-11, Nasim Khan 2-30); QV 102 for four wickets (Nasim Khan 35 n.o., Zia Abbas 27, Younus Ata 20).
