KARACHI: The legal fraternity will observe strike on Monday on a joint call of the Sindh High Court Bar Association and the Karachi Bar Association.

SHCBA spokesperson Qazi Ather said on Sunday that it had been unanimously decided by the high court and city bar associations to observe complete strike and stay away from all court proceedings in protest over the Quetta incident.

He said the bar associations would hold a joint general body meeting at 10.30am to condemn the killing of innocent people. SHCBA president Mustafa Lakhani and KBA president Naeem Qureshi and other lawyer leaders would address the general body meeting, added the SHCBA spokesperson.
