Foggy weather

Published January 14, 2013

DENSE fog is disrupting schedules at airports, railway stations and bus terminals. Passengers are getting frustrated as they are not able to reach their destinations in time. It is not specific to Pakistan only.

The higher authorities of Indian railway stations have taken several effective measures in order to facilitate their passengers such as a website events.trainenquiry.com/fog where passengers may log on for real-time status of affected trains.

Passengers can also sms the five-digit train number and the details are sent via text message instantly. Pakistan Railways should also take such measures. For how long can we say that we can’t control the weather?
