Steady progress by Lahore Whites

LAHORE, Jan 15: Lahore Whites made steady progress to reach 173 for four in their first innings on another fog-hit day in the Quaid Trophy Group-III match against Sialkot at LCCA Ground on Wednesday.

Khurram Chauhan (66) and Aamir Sajjad (32 not out) shared a fourth-wicket stand of 91 as the home side added 121 to the overnight 52 for two.

Sheikhupura, meanwhile, added another 74 runs without losing a wicket against Pakistan Customs at Sheikhupura Stadium after resuming at 80 for  three.

There was no play at all on the day two of the match between Habib Bank and Gujranwala at Lahore Country Club in Muridke because of dense fog.
