LAHORE, Jan 9: Amid doubts and confusion about the revival of the international cricket in the country, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will on Thursday unveil the logo of its Premier League, which is scheduled to start from March 24.

Question marks, however, remain whether foreign players will take part in it.

And the refusal of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to send its team for a short two-match series from Jan 12 to 14 might hamper PCB’s ambition to have foreign stars in the PPL.

The PCB wanted to host Bangladesh as it would’ve helped them attract top international stars for the league but the refusal of the BCB on security grounds means it is highly unlikely that the PPL would have the services of foreign stars.

PCB has already warned its Bangladeshi counterpart that it would not allow some 51 Pakistan players for the Bangladesh Premier League which starts from Jan 17 if they do not fulfill their commitment to tour the country.
