Faisalabad DBA elects leaders

FAISALABAD, Jan 14: Ch Salahuddin has been elected president of the District Bar Association, Faisalabad, in a triangular battle against Ch Muhammad Mumtaz and Changaiz Khan Kakar.

According to results, Ch Salahuddin secured 442 while Muhammad Mumtaz and Changaiz Khan Kakar obtained 265 and 387 votes, respectively.

Arshad Warriach became secretary-general by defeating Mian Jawed Iqbal while Ch Ilamdin was elected vice-president and Khalidia Parveen joint secretary.

Fayyaz Hussain and Mazhar Iqbal were already elected unopposed as library and finance secretaries, respectively.
