PESHAWAR, Jan 5: The death toll of last month’s suicide attack on former senior minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour reached 10 on Saturday as another youth identified as Malik Rizwan Ali succumbed to his wounds at Lady Reading Hospital here.

Mr Ali had received multiple wounds, but head injuries caused his death, said sources.

His funeral prayers were offered at Aasia Gate Park and he was laid to rest at Sardar Badshah graveyard.

The victim was son of Malik Haseeb, who is president of All Pakistan Local Government Federation.

Mr Haseeb said that his son sacrificed his life for peace and his family would continue to follow his mission.

Mr Ali was joint secretary of Awami National Party, Peshawar, and had got married in March last year.
