QUETTA, Jan 14: Governor Amirul Mulk Mengal has said that the elected provincial government will push forward the development process which was initiated during the last three years and hoped that it will work for the betterment of the people.
The governor on Tuesday speaking to the trainee officers of the Information Group, currently visiting the provincial capital, said that hundreds of development projects including irrigation, drinking water supply, education, health, communication, agriculture and livestock were launched in the province during the last three years and most of them had already been completed whereas the rest were near completion.
Mr Mengal claimed that 2000 km roads and 83 big and small dams were constructed. He said that two hundred dried Karezs were rehabilitated, standard of all residential model colleges was improved and cadet colleges in Zhob and Punjgur were approved.
