SUKKUR, Dec 28: Two more children died of measles on Friday in two villages near Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki district.

Five-year-old Bilawal died in Ahmed Bux Gurgaij village while four-year-girl Maskan passed away in Gul Baig Gadani village on Friday.

Over 20 children have died of measles in upper Sindh during the past five weeks. Around 19 deaths were reported from Salehpat area and surrounding villages in Sukkur district.

The expanded programme of immunisation, Sindh, has decided to launch a special vaccination campaign in 11 districts of the province in the first few weeks of 2013.—BoC
