CHENNAI, Dec 27: Pakistan’s one-dayers’ captain Misbah-ul-Haq along with six other players had a two-hour training session at the Chepauk here on Thursday.

Misbah and his teammates Younis Khan, Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail, Imran Farhat and Wahab Riaz who have been picked only for the 50-over format, arrived this morning and came for the training session at around 2.00pm in the afternoon. The players had a productive nets session at the adjacent ‘B’ ground of the main stadium.

The ODI specialists are expected to practise on Friday also.

The other members of the ODI team who are currently busy for the second T20 in Ahmedabad on Friday will arrive by a chartered flight on Saturday, a day before the first ODI.—Agencies
