KARACHI, Jan 13: Ten ships including a car carrier with 200 units and to load molasses expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Iwato, Pretty River to unload and load containers, Perysun Leader to offload vehicles and Stolt Alliance to offload chemicals were berthed.

But sailing on the other hand was brisk as 10 ships departed after loading containers and general cargo. They are: Hyundai Sprinter, Jamila, Iron-D, Australia Bridge, Global Prosperity, Sima Bahar, Perysun Leader, Khairpur, Mighty Confidence, Sea Brilliance and Arafat, while Good Hope, Stolt Alliance, Kota Wangsa, Pretty River and Iwato are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 65,214 tons comprising 4,524 tons of export cargo and 60,690 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Gulf Lion, Crux, with oils, MOL Sincerity, Bunga Massatu, APL Cairo, Mar Challenger, with containers, Islamabad, with general cargo, Kaghan, with rock phosphate, Delia to load molasses and California Highway, with 200 vehicles.
