According to a statement, PU Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran told the media observing a holiday on Quaid and Iqbal days silenced the services of these great leaders. He said ceremonies should be organised at all educational institutions on such events to create awareness among the youth about the services, thoughts and personalities of these leaders.

On the other hand, all departments of the university celebrated the birth anniversary of the Quaid-i-Azam with zeal and fervour by holding seminars, quiz competitions, debates and paying tributes to him.
