ISLAMABAD, Dec 21: Islamabad Police arrested 12 outlaws and 11 other suspects from various areas of the city recovering fake passports, visa stamps and unlicenced weapons, a police spokesman told on Friday.

Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police stopped a car (Sindh, AML-606) at a checkpoint near I-8 Markaz, and seized passports with visas, stickers and stamps. Four occupants of the car – Waseem Ahmed, Mohsin Rauf, Usman Akram and Shafaat – were taken into custody by the police.

During similar searches, Bhara Kahu, Kohsar and Sabzi Mandi police stations arrested a total of six outlaws.—A Reporter
