LAHORE, Dec 18: The Punjab Bar Council has cancelled/suspended practicing licenses of around 40 lawyers during the current year on charges of professional misconduct and having bogus academic degrees.
Taking action on complaints, the bar council cancelled licenses of 37 advocates for having fake degrees and other charges.
Licenses of three lawyers were suspended and disciplinary proceedings against them are still pending. The PbBC has circulated the list of such advocates for the information of all bar associations across the country. — Staff Reporter
