Bangladesh beat Nepal

DHAKA, Jan 11: Hosts Bangladesh scored their first victory when they beatNepal 1-0 in a group B match in the third South Asian Football Federation championship on Saturday.

Alfaz Ahmed scored the match winner in the 38th minute of the first half.

Earlier Maldives hit Bhutan for six with Ali Shiham grabbing a hat trick.

In a lop-sided affair Maldives led 4-0 at half time.
