Students slam increase in fee

LARKANA, Jan 11: Around 100 students of the Chandka Medical College boycotted classes and staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Saturday against the increase in tuition fee.

They chanted slogans against the college management for increasing the fee from Rs6,000 to Rs10,500.

They said this would deprive many students of their right to get education as they could not afford the new fee.

The students pledged to continue their protest if the fee was not reduced.

KILLED: A villager, Ali Murad Jagirani, was killed by some unidentified men at his land near Dhamraho on Saturday.
