LARKANA, Dec 16: A two-year-old girl fell prey to a stray bullet during a clash between two rival groups in Fatehpur village, some six kilometres from here, on Sunday.

The rival groups of Mirani clan have been at odds over some issues since 1976. Intermittent armed clashes between the two sides have already claimed more than 15 lives and left many others wounded.

In a fresh exchange of fire, the two-year-old girl, Sakina, was caught in crossfire. She was in the lap of his father, Wajid Ali Solgani, when a stray bullet pierced through her head. She was rushed to the Chandka Medical College Hospital in precarious condition but could not survive.

Later, the bereaved family along with other relatives to the body to a section of the Larkana-Ratodero Road and staged a demonstration demanding arrest of the killers.
