KARACHI, Dec 8: A bandit was killed in an exchange of fire with police in a Bahadurabad area, while his two accomplices managed to escape, officials said. They added that three men riding a motorbike intercepted a car in an attempt to snatch it when two constables of the New Town police station spotted the suspicious activity and reached the spot. “The bandits fired at the policemen and an encounter ensued,” said DSP Nasir Lodhi. “In a brief exchange of gunfire, a bandit fell on the ground and his accomplices fled. The wounded bandit died during treatment at the JPMC.”
