Around 800 teaching and non-teaching staff working under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) are waiting for the regularisation of their services, it has been learnt.

However, some of the employees alleged that the ministry of capital administration and development (CAD) had started a pick-and-choose policy.

They said recently CAD regularised six teachers in BPS (Basic Pay Scale) 16, who were junior to about 100 educators.

According to documents available with Dawn, CAD regularised the services of Mohammad Waqarur Rehman (date of appointment Nov 26, 2010), Ms Shahzaib (Oct 26, 2010), Makhan Khan (Nov 24, 2010), Mohammad Ejaz (Jan 1, 2010), Shugufta Habib (Jan 2, 2010) and Rubina Kausar (date of joining Sept 13, 2010).
