One wonders if Abhay Deol keeps speaking his mind for how long will he survive in Bollywood. Abhay D is known for his off-beat roles and is quite good at that. What makes him different is the fact that he does not like to mingle with the usual tinsel town crowd.

In his latest interview for an Indian newspaper, Abhay D went after the numerous award shows that happen in India all year round. He said, “Talk to any actor off the record and he will tell you that you either go to an award function because you are winning an award or because you are getting paid (for a performance).”

Yep, spot on. That’s why you’ve neither won a trophy nor are you rich.
