KARACHI, Nov 29: Six ships are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Friday.

A tanker Karachi and APL Brisbane with containers were berthed while Sea Cargo, CSC Rising Sun and Kota Gentang sailed out on Thursday.

A cargo volume of 95,779 tons comprising 75,647 tons of import and 20,132 tons of export was handled.

Following ships are due to arrive on Friday: Dream Orchid with vehicles, Rio de la Plaia and YM Ningbo with containers, Oriental Clematis and Chem World with ethanol and Lahore with cooking oil.

Port Qasim KARACHI: Two ships carrying containers and steel coil were allotted berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, five more ships with containers, edible oil and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

A cargo throughput of 39,232 tons comprising 28,777 tons of import and 10,455 tons of export was handled.
