Shah Rukh Khan tops the list of Top 10 Celebrities as per ad volume (share%), according to TAM AdEx findings.

According to a report in TOI: The Bollywood Badshash, according to the TAM AdEx report on celebrity endorsements from January to September 2012, tops the list of celebrities as per ad volume with an 8 per cent share, followed by Kareena Kapoor who garners a 6 percent share. Number 3 on the list is actress Katrina Kaif with 5 per cent. Next on the list are Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra with 5 per cent and 3 per cent share respectively. While Sachin Tendulkar is the only sportsperson to have been in the top 10 list in number 9 position with 3 per cent share. The top 10 list also includes celebrities like Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma and Kajol.

While brands have always found a very good fit in SRK, his Box Office success rate has only upped the hot quotient of him as a celebrity endorser. This index has seen SRK ahead of Amitabh Bachchan, who has got a share of 3 per cent (as per ad volume).

One thing is for sure, celebrities with their charismatic presence heat up the ad space. Be it SRK, Saif Ali Khan or Salman Khan, every A lister actor in Bollywood finds a perfect fit in the brands he endorses. Not to mention how equally emphatically Bollywood actresses also have their say in the ad space. As the figures show, the tube gets its dose of glamour in form of ads too which makes the game more interesting.

As of now, Bollywood seem to be ruling the roost.
