SUKKUR, Oct 9: A married woman, Zeenat (21), was shot dead on the pretext of Karo-kari by her husband, Akbar Chachar, in Ubaro village on Monday night.
The woman’s father, Ghulam Qadir, lodged a report at the Ubaro police station stating that his daughter was innocent and his son-in-law had falsely accused her of being a Kari.
GUNNED DOWN: A woman, Taslim Bibi, was gunned down by her husband, M Sharif, who alleged her to be a Kari in Dari village, near Daharki, on Monday night. The man escaped after killing his wife.
