KARACHI: Afghani lauds book week

KARACHI, Jan 8: The former mayor of Karachi and MNA of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Abdul Sattar Afghani, lauded the role of the IJT in holding book week.

Speaking at the opening of the second day of book week at Masjid-i- Khizra, he said the education polices were devised to facilitate the elite.

He urged the government to take steps for making education accessible for the poor students who could not afford high expenses of education.—PPI
