NOWSHERA/KOHAT, Nov 24: Unidentified militants blew up two girls schools in Nowshera and Kohat on Saturday.

Police said that militants blew up a primary school at Mughlki area of Akora Khattak in Nowshera on Saturday evening. The school building was reconstructed with the help of Japan after 2010 floods.

In Kohat, police said militants planted five kilograms of improvised explosive device to the building of the government primary school for girls in Teerawal Banda locality of Kamal Khel area in the wee hours on Saturday.

The police said explosive device exploded with a big bang, destroying the building completely.—Dawn Report
